I wrote this a few nights into Guatemala then forgot about it until I led worship just now (10/28/2023). Something made me look in my notebook as I led worship for a word and the Holy Spirit just urged me to share this. I honestly didn’t think too much of it but to my surprise a bunch of people asked for it after so I figured I’d just post it on here for everyone. It is six stanzas long and each stanza is dedicated to a different title of our Lord. In order, the six titles are: Teacher, Lamb, Savior, King, Lord, and God. It has no title in my notebook, and it is humbly read as this:

Jesus,

May I follow all of your teachings,

down to the very letter?

I beg you to mold me into your image,

even if it be unto death.

I fall to my face at the beauty of the cross,

for words could never describe its glory.

Oh the purity of the Blood of the Lamb!

Wash me in its purifying grace.

If works could save, you’d have died for nothing,

It is only by the Blood!

You have pried us from the clutches of death,

And BLESSED us with plentiful life anew!

Jesus please let me live only for you,

And for your glory alone!

Let every action I commit be to glorify you,

And to honor you alone, my King!

Lord Jesus, the universe is yours,

It all exists for not but to sing your praise.

Dominion over my life is all yours.

The Alpha and Omega, Lord for all eternity.

Hallelujah! Your glory is eternal, my Lord, my God.

Hallelujah! I submit myself to you, my King, my God.

Hallelujah! You have delivered us from death into life, my Savior, my God.

Hallelujah! I am saved by the Blood of the Lamb, The Blood of My God!!
